CSDC’s intellectual activities are based on the premise to progressively unfold cultural and democratic processes by intensive discussions and researches. CSDC believes scholars, thinkers and academics should not be confined to activities related to ideas, research and thoughts. They should engage themselves with common people, frequently interact both formal and informal levels and also mobilised resources to help and empower them. The social action becomes important to remain organically linked with grassroots. Scholars, researchers and thinkers neither feel alienated nor consider masses unworthy of being the part of ideas generation. Actions and ideas together generates transformative capacity. CSDC has picked up an issue which has remained much neglected or ignored, the use of sanitary napkins.

  • Sanitary napkins distribution among those who remained unaware of its use or economically underprivileged.
  • Installation of Vending Machine and incinerator for the the sanitary napkins in the remotest area and particularly in the village schools.
